Does your child need a tooth extractions?

Children may require tooth extraction due to various reasons. These include extreme tooth decay or infection that cannot be remedied by a filling or root canal treatment, too many teeth in too little space, impacted teeth, and baby teeth that do not come on their own. It is important to note that a child's should only be extracted if it is causing discomfort or is necessary for their oral health. The child's dentist or oral surgeon will determine if extraction is required and discuss alternatives with
the parents or legal guardians.

Is tooth extraction covered by insurance?

Tooth extractions are typically considered a “basic” dental procedure, and as such, they are typically covered in full or in part by the majority of dental insurance policies.
